DGCAKES Cake Academy – Cancellation & Refund Policy

Places at DGCAKES Cake Academy classes are limited and are reserved once a booking and payment have been completed.

Customer cancellations

If you cancel your booking 14 days or more before the scheduled class date, you will be eligible for a 60% refund of the amount paid. The remaining 40% is non-refundable.

Cancellations made less than 14 days before the scheduled class date are non-refundable.

Illness

If a child or student is unable to attend due to illness, please contact DGCAKES as soon as possible and before the class begins. In genuine circumstances, DGCAKES may, at its discretion and subject to availability, allow the booking to be transferred to another suitable class. Transfers are not guaranteed.

Non-attendance

If a student does not attend the booked class and DGCAKES has not been notified beforehand, the booking will be treated as a no-show and will be non-refundable and non-transferable.

Classes cancelled by DGCAKES

In the event that DGCAKES has to cancel a class, your booking will be transferred to another suitable available class. DGCAKES will contact you to arrange the transfer. If DGCAKES is unable to offer a suitable alternative class, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled class.

How to request a cancellation

Cancellation requests must be made by contacting DGCAKES at hello@dgcakes.co.uk. The date on which DGCAKES receives the cancellation request will be used to determine whether the booking qualifies for a partial refund.

Where a refund is due, it will be processed back to the original payment method.

By booking a DGCAKES Cake Academy class, you agree to this cancellation and refund policy.
